Off-Site National Consultant for compiling report on M&E findings for Hospital Pharmacy Management
Purpose of the Post:
The purpose of this consultancy is to provide technical support requested by the Ministry of Health (MOH) Food and Drug Department (FDD) for developing the report using data/findings during monitoring and evaluation for Public Hospital Pharmacy Management at sub-national level.
Description of Duties:
The consultant will work under overall guidance from the Coordinator for Health Systems. He/she will work very closely with the Department of Food and Drug Department to conduct analysis of the data and findings during the M&E conducted by FDD, draw a set of key recommendations to address issues identified during the M&E and develop a final report including a 5-year strategic plan for the implementation of GPP in health facilities in both Lao and English.
Output/s
a) Output 1: To provide support for the development of a final report based on analysis of the data and findings during the M&E conducted by FDD and a 5-year strategic plan for the implementation of GPP in health facilities
Deliverable 1: Review and analysis of the data and findings from M&E conducted by FDD from 2017 to 2020
Deliverable 2: A draft report based on this analysis which includes a 5-year strategic plan for the implementation of GPP in health facilities
Deliverable 3: A final report which reflects comments from a consultation meeting at central level in both Lao and English
Knowledge & skills:
Technical knowledge and competences in supply chain management, hospital pharmacy management, pricing and regulatory system for pharmaceuticals
Good analysis and writing skills

Proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory
