National Survey Consultant

The ILO Country Office for Lao PDR is looking for a national survey consultant to participate in research on the informal economy and expanding social security coverage in Lao PDR.

Consultant profile

Desired competencies of the national survey consultant:

• Advanced degrees in social sciences
• Knowledge of social protection policies and practices and the informal economy
• Knowledge of local (down to village level) governance structures in Lao PDR
• Strong ability to design and use field survey and data collection tools
• Strong experience of working in Lao PDR at both central and decentralised levels
• Good analytical and writing skills

The national survey consultant is expected to work in a team with a lead consultant.
